So, here goes

I got some of G+ imported here, anyway. WP seems to have (at least partially) inhaled it, including downloading photos to storage here. Hm.

Now to get on with it and tidy the place up a bit, maybe even create some content!

A long time ago, in the time of Picasa, I liked to share photo albums like this on #GooglePlus; vignettes illustrating a day on the trail or some story — in this case, the day that NMFireHorse, GeoWalkabout, Bronco and I hiked out in pursuit of the Tapia Canyon Time Trek geocache My knees complained, but my eyes cracked the whip. So totally worth it. Must go back with better lenses…

In the slot portion, the album seems to like the first shot I shared

A song for G+ from my fav. supergroup, The Traveling Wilburys: End Of The Line
Not exactly a #phototune unless you got to ‘Chock a block’ in the album, I suppose…

  1. G+ was fun while it lasted. Time to move on I suppose.

I was able to successfully export my G+ posts and import them into a Blogger blog. I to am working on cleaning up my previous content. Then at some point, I will export the blog content from Blogger and move it to a WordPress site. Blogger was the easiest for me to quickly get set up, but I don’t like being tied to Google for my blog, given how badly they handled the G+ shutdown.

    1. It really is remarkable to me how short-sighted Google has been and is being with regard to their products and customers. Do they really care so little about their base and goodwill? Seems so. I’m pulling away from all of their products myself since it seems impossible to tell which will be around going forward.

That said, I’ll probably keep posting links and comments to G+ until the very end…
